1.- As a base layer or first layer, quick-drying t-shirts and underpants (leggings) are advisable. The advantage of these special synthetic fibers is that they dry very quickly and the body does not chill. You should avoid cotton, since this kind of fiber gets wet producing dampness that comes into contact with the skin.

2.- As a second layer, keeping you warm and protecting you from the wind are essential. Polartech fleece pullovers are ideal for this; they are very light and can also be worn as stand-alone sweaters when it is not so cold.

3.- As a third layer or outer layer, you should wear garments that insulate the body that includes a water repellent jacket and waterproof breathable pants.
