We began from our Hotel after checking with our guide all the remommended equipment we will need for the excursion; we will go towards the East zone of the Torres del Paine National Park towards the ex-estancia Cerro Paine (54 km), where we will travel into the park for about 1 1/2 hour. Once we arrive to the Ex – estancia Cerro Paine area, we begin our trekking with a short speech about security, we will across a bridge that passes trough the Ascencio River; this is a flow that descends from the valey that has the same name, this name is in honour to a renowned Patagonian bandit. Inmediatly our big first challenge,

beginning with a slow trekking to get to the 500mts altitude the belongs to the base of the Almirante Nieto Mountain during this path we will see the Nordenskjold surrounded by Chilean firetree or Chilean firebush, at the end of this first challenge, the amazing Ascencio Valey will show us the route that we have to follow to archieve our big challege.
