CURRENCY AND PAYMENTS: The Chilean currency is the peso. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners cards. ATMs and exchange of money are closest in Puerto Natales an hour away.

ROOMS: The rooms are equipped with hairdryer, safe and telephone. We do not have televisions in the rooms, but our customers can see programs

PETROL STATIONS: The closest is in Puerto Natales. The park and surrounding area do not have gas stations.
INTERNET AND TELEPHONY: Due to the remote geographical location where the hotel is located, both the internet and fixed telephony they are satellite. This also makes the connection is slow and does not reach the usual speed of a city.

TIME: The official time of Chile is GMT minus 4 hours.
TIPPING: It is customary in Chile to tip for good service between 10% and 15% in places like restaurants. It is usual to tip in taxis, as these have meters.
VISAS: Travelers who hold passports from countries with diplomatic relations with Chile, generally do not need a visa to enter the country. However, we recommend contacting the Chilean Embassy to confirm current conditions. There are countries that do not require a visa, but when entering Chile a reciprocity fee is charged. Currently these countries are the United States, Canada, Australia and Mexico.
HEALTH: Chile is a country with no major health risks and health infrastructure developed. You do not need to enter specific vaccines. However, it is recommended that is up to date with vaccines against tetanus, cholera and hepatitis. Although tap water in much of the country is drinkable, it is advised to drink bottled water to avoid inconveniences. The medical system in Chile includes public and private services. It is suggested to always hire a good health insurance before traveling.
CLOTHING: It is advisable to use protection against wind and rain shelter at any time of year and the use of strong footwear if you participate in outdoor activities such as hiking and trekking.
